Grotessca Workshop

This is an introductory course in the decorative art form of Grotessca (“Grotesque”). Students will learn about the history of grotessca and techniques will be taught by a Master artisan in the field, including how to compose whimsical imagery and the use of vibrant colors in their artwork. Students will create their own panel using techniques taught.
METHODOLOGY:
To allow students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the art form and and learn application techniques.
CONTENT:
Students will create a panel utilizing the techniques taught.
